The City Center, located in our 3rd-floor sanctuary, serves as a secure and welcoming haven for vulnerable populations and those experiencing homelessness. Operating Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, we provide a nourishing continental breakfast, morning prayer, and essential services including laundry and everyday necessities. Our space features a dedicated dining area, seating for prayer, and a comfortable living room designed to restore peace and true ease to our guests. We consider it a profound honor to offer this place of rest and dignity to everyone who enters our doors.
The Hill Free Store operates out of our basement on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, The Hill Free Store is a thoughtfully organized community space providing free clothing, shelf-stable food, toiletries, and household items. We supply clothing, shoes, and household goods for men, women, and children, intentionally designed to meet fundamental needs with respect. Built to reflect a boutique retail environment, the store includes shopping baskets, a checkout area, and changing rooms for our guests. Every detail within the store preserves our guests; dignity, ensuring a kind, comfortable, and
empowering experience.
To actively combat addiction, we proudly host a local Narcotics Anonymous 12-Step Program every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the 3rd floor. Shepherd's Heart is entirely dedicated to helping individuals secure the encouragement, support, and accountability required to heal from life's severe hardships. We actively walk alongside our community, believing deeply in the true freedom and spiritual healing offered by Christ.
Our community gathers weekly for a worship service and provided meal on Sunday evenings at 5:15 PM on the 3rd floor, actively supporting each other’s physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through prayer. We also offer a designated Eucharist time on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 AM. Across all our programs, our dedicated chaplain delivers spiritual care and steady encouragement, providing a compassionate and grounding presence for everyone we serve.
Supporting Veterans is the operational core and very heart of our mission. We operate a 15-bed residential facility for Veterans experiencing homelessness, charting a concrete path from uncertainty toward stable housing and employment. This comprehensive case management program guides Veterans from immediate stabilization to long-term independence as they collaborate with staff and our on-site counselor to execute sustainable plans for their future. We remain committed to walking alongside every Veteran with steadfast compassion and respect, and those needing assistance can download and submit an application form to begin.
